We compare every advert here with similar vehicles and tell you whether the price is good or too high. Here's exactly how.
We track the prices of similar vehicles offered in Macedonia: make, model, year, body type and price. These are details anyone can see on the adverts, we just gather them in one place so they can be compared.
Important: we know the asking prices, not the prices vehicles actually sold for. Nobody in Macedonia keeps a public register of sale prices. So the check is a guide, not a valuation.
For each vehicle we look for a group of similar vehicles: same make and model, similar year and same body type. If that group is too small, we widen it step by step (first we ignore body type, then year).
From that group we take the trimmed average: we drop the most expensive and the cheapest 10% before we calculate. That way one unrealistic advert cannot skew the average for everyone else.
Ако за некое возило имаме помалку од 5 слични примероци, проверката воопшто не се прикажува. Оценка пресметана од два-три огласи не значи ништо, а изгледа како да значи. Подобро е да не кажеме ништо отколку да те доведеме во заблуда.
So on rarer models you won't see a label. That is not an error.
A vehicle marked “Above market” can be a great buy if it is in better condition than average. And the other way round: “Excellent price” sometimes means something is wrong. The label is a starting point for negotiation, not a verdict.
Кога објавуваш оглас, ти го покажуваме опсегот на слични возила ago to set the price, so you don't ask too little or wait months at too high a price.
